Teaching

Education doesn’t stop at the classroom, so we must inspire our students to take it with them when they leave.

Teaching Philosophy

Victoria’s approach to teaching centers students’ autonomy and ability to learn and communicate in ways that inform, inspire, and invite new ways of thinking. Her classroom creates space for students to engage diverse perspectives, to self-reflect on their learning practices, and to inclusively listen and communicate with one another in and outside of the classroom. She believes that when students are respected as co-creators of the classroom environment and supported with effective tools and resources to learn, they will respond to new ideas and challenges with excitement, persistence, and creativity.
